What I want my students to learn… Eating habits are important. We are what we eat. Examples of healthy meals. We need to eat from all the food groups.

Task card 1… Healthy Chef of the Day (ml-l) 1.You are a chef, creating healthy meals for your friends. Observe the food pyramid. 2. From the basket of pretend and play food, Choose 3 different types of food from the food groups to create a healthy and fun meal for your friends.

Task Card 2 1. You are a nutricionist arranging a healthy diet for a friend. Observe the eatwell plate, to arrange the diet. Nutrition is Fun (ml-l) 2. Use the plates with pretend and play food, to arrange the diet according to the colors.

Task Card 3 1.Look for 2.Cutouts of food 3. Use sissors and cut CHOOSE MY PLATE (vs-k) 1. You are a meal designer, in a restaurant. You need to show your chefs what to include in the meals you are serving. 2. Paste in a pretend plate, so that everyone can know what meal you are creating, so everyone can follow.

Task Card 4 You own a restaurant and you must choose and prepare a healthy snack for your costumers with real food. (k-Inter) 1.Decide which snack are you preparing. 2. Prepare your snack keeping in mind that it must have ingredients from at least three of the food groups. 3. Serve your snack to the costumers. Let’s do it!!
