Who are they? Originally called Camp Fire Girls of America First non sectarian, multi cultural organization for girls in America Focuses on outdoor activities for young girls, like camping and hiking.

History Came about in 1910 when interest was sparked in programs to benefit children and adolescents During World War I Camp Fire Girls helped to sell over one million dollars in Liberty Bonds and over 900,000 in Thrift stamps. (25 cents each) Campfire Girls of America officially became a co-ed organization in 1975 and changed their name to Campfire Boys and Girls.
