Transfers from the platform to the carriages and vice-a-versa The mechanisms to bridge the horizontal and the vertical gap between the platform and the coach. A portable “wheelift” is tried and tested at the New Delhi Railway station with Engineers of Northern Railways, RDSO and representatives of Railway Board.

Cost of “wheelift” The total cost would be approximately INR 3.90 Lakhs (0.39 million) inclusive of all taxes and levies per wheelift
