Here is an example but not your specific child’s rotation. Red Day- Media Orange Day- Computer Yellow Day- Music Green Day- Art Blue Day- P.E. (be sure to wear sneakers!) Purple Day- Science

ABSENCES Absences: If your child is absent, please call the school at You can also me. Please send in a note the next day about why your child was absent. Sickness: Please keep your child home if they are sick. If your child has a fever or vomits, they are not allowed back at school for 24 hours. Vaccinations/Physicals: All Kindergarten students must have their health information up to date. They may attend school the first 30 days. If your child is missing a physical or shots after the 30th day, they will not be allowed to attend school until all the paperwork is turned in.

MISCELLANEOUS Lunch: Our daily lunch time is 11:40-12:05. We sit at table 5 in the main cafeteria. Snack: Please either send in a snack for the class to share or send a snack in with your child. This may be animals crackers, goldfish, etc. The students get hungry at the end of the day! Birthdays: We have a very tight schedule during the day, but we would always love to celebrate a friend’s birthday! We have recess Tuesday- Friday from 1:45-2:15. This is the only time for you to bring in store bought cupcakes Please feel free to bring in cupcakes during that time so we may celebrate your child’s birthday. If you plan to bring in cupcakes, please arrange it with me prior.

MISCELLANEOUS CONTINUED Conferences: Our main conference will be at the end of October. If you would like to speak with me about your child, please schedule a time to meet or speak with me. I am not permitted to have a conference with you during instructional time. Dismissal: If you need to change the normal way your child is going home, you must either call the office or send in a note. If neither is done, the student will go home as they normally would. This is a safety issue and many times the students will say they are going home a different way when they should be going home the normal way. Also, if your child is a bus rider, please know that the bus can drop off the student whether an adult is there or not. Extra Clothes: Accidents happen! Please send in an extra set of clothes in a bag- a pair of pants, a shirt, underwear, and socks.

WEEBLY Please see the CMS homepage for your child’s specific classroom website.
