Why MGCC? The Miramichi Golf Club would be an excellent place to do a dive with the ROV. There are many different bodies of water that we could explore.

Locations The three biggest locations on the course would be large ponds on holes #4, 12 and 14.

Pros There is no current, so it would be easy to navigate the ROV. The water is fairly shallow. There are many different aquatic creatures living there, such as frogs, salamanders and some elongated goldfish. There are many interesting things under the water, such as thousands of golf balls and who knows what else.

Cons Visibility may be limited. Since it is a public golf course, we wouldn’t be able to go during certain times of the day. We would most likely have to go in early May, before the course fully opens, to have complete access.

Hole #12 would be my personal choice for the best dive site. It is a round, open pond. It is my choice because it is easily accessible. There is a clear shore line that would be ideal for putting the ROV in as well as controlling it.

Thoughts If the ROV becomes useable again, MGCC would be a good choice for a dive in the field. There are many interesting ponds that we could visit and it is close to the school.
