EARLY LIFE  Albrecht was born on 1471 in Nuremberg, Germany  He was the son of Albrecht Durer and Barbara Holfer.  He had a sibling named Hans Durer  He was a German painter, engraver, printmaker, mathematician, and theorist from Nuremberg.

FACTS ON DURER  In 1468 Albrecht curer’s father married his own daughter, Barbara.  They had 18 children.  He was taught how to paint by some Italian masters.  At the age of 13 Albrecht already had made a self portrait so he was very skilled at a very young age  He is known as the German Leonardo
