BONFIRE NIGHT: 5th November On Bonfire Night the British people remember Guy Fawkes.

GUY FAWKES On 5th November 1604, he wanted to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill the King.

GUNPOWDER PLOT The plot was revealed to the authorities in an anonymous letter. Fawkes was discovered guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder—enough to reduce the House of Lords to rubble—and arrestedgunpowder

Bonfire Night is on November 5th Bonfire Night is also known as Guy Fawkes Night. Many people in Uk celebrate Bonfire Night with family and friends.

Safety code Fireworks are fun, but they can be dangerous! Never touch lit fireworks. Don’t give fireworks to small children. Children can hold sparklers. Keep pets indoors.
