ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION BY: Polo Teagle & Ludjina Edouard

Problem The causes of illegal immigration are…  Borders aren’t properly secured.  Open borders.  The consequences that the united states give are weak.  They can get jobs easier in the US then in their own country.  The illegal immigrants have to much poverty in their own country.

Problem  People that immigrate here get paid more money here than in their own country.  When people immigrate to the U.S. it makes it hard for the people in the U.S. to get jobs because all the immigrants steal them.  Using our resources without contributing to anything at all

Problem  Illegal immigrants live in the United States without paying taxes or health insurance.  Another problem is security. Since illegal immigrants come to the country illegally we don’t know if they are terrorist come to destroy the United states.

The Cause The cause of the problem is that… Borders are open The consequences for illegal immigrants coming to the country are weak The poverty that’s happening in there original country are major. Also in this country they can get jobs easier n get paid a larger amount.

Scope of the Problem This is a Federal issue.

3 Solutions  Find a way for them to contribute to the United States. Make them a productive member within their society.  Don’t give citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants.  Penalties for violating immigration laws should be increased.

Best Solution The best solution would be for them to contribute to the society and make them a productive part of their society.

Reason Why The reason why this is the best solution is because if they start to contribute to the society then they could be doing something to help our country in some type of way. Instead of them taking and using all of our things they could be earning it.

Our letter We are writing to you today to address the issue with illegal immigration that’s happening within the United States. As you may know this issue over the last couple of years has been increasing, and it’s becoming to be an issue. This problem affects a lot of people in the United States. Illegal immigration throughout the year has been increasing majorly. The cause of the problem is that the borders are open and not secure, the consequences are weak for the people who break the law about illegal immigration, the poverty in their country is too much, and finally in the United States they can get jobs much easier. Since the borders are open and not secure it makes it much easier for them to sneak into our country. The consequences that the U.S. gives aren’t that harsh so they aren’t as affected by them. Also the poverty within their country makes them want to come to a better country and to pursue a better life for them and their families. The solutions to the problem may be that we should make them contribute to something’s in the U.S or within their society. In my opinion if they become a productive member in their society then they wouldn’t really be mooching out of the things the U.S. provides. We would really like for you to come up with an idea to fix illegal immigration. Ludjina Edouard & Polo Teagle
