How do I do Parenthetical Citation? For a book - Put the authors name and page info was found on it parenthesis after the quote. – One Researcher has found that dreams move backward in time as the night progresses (Dement 71). If you mention the author in the sentence then only the page number needs to be place in parenthesis –Freud states that a dream is a fulfillment of a wish (154).
