Je-S System Bite Size Sessions 17 th March 2015 The University of Opportunity
JeS System This training session provides hands-on demonstration of the main functions of the JeS system. The JeS system is the electronic research grant application submission system for bids, grant applications and research proposals. Je-S is used by all of the 7 UK Research Councils including AHRC, BBSRC, EPSRC, ESRC, MRC, NERC and STFC (formerly CCLRC and PPARC), as well as Innovate UK, Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) and National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs), to provide their communities with electronic grant services. The demo takes you through the self-registration, the key functions of the system and the bid submission process. We share some hints and tips for effective use of the system and awareness of the steps involved in bid submissions, who to contact for support and how to plan your bids. The session is aimed at academic staff who are planning research proposals and need to use JeS to prepare and submit their proposals to external funders. The University of Opportunity
