What to Expect When You Are Expecting Success in Mrs. Hefner’s Chemistry Class…

Homework Every Night! Due On Tuesdays Only. Practice is required to retain knowledge, even if you “get it”, you are expected to remember it and use it.

Quizzes Every Day These are short, 1-5 question oral quizzes that just allow me to assess how well you learned what I tried to teach the day, or even the week, before. They are intended to help your grade.

Tests Every Tuesday We learn a lot every week. Students are allowed to make corrections on all tests. Tests are made of all types of questions.

The Key to Chem is TRY! Effort leads to Success in this class. I am always available to help. Communication is very important, teaching and learning is a two person job.
