Easy tax-free way to give to any charity, good cause or place of worship Deduction is taken from pay before tax so every £1 pledged actually costs 80p/60p Gift Aided donations take up to 12 months for charities to re-claim the tax (and only at base rate) - IOF estimate that £800M+ unclaimed Gift Aid each year Stop/change/increase/decrease donations at any time Give As You Earn is CAF’s brand name for Payroll Giving

Charities Hardest hit by recession – more important than ever to support Thousands of charities to choose from. £1 a week makes a huge difference it could provide:  Clean water for families in Africa  Research into disease  food and shelter for a homeless person in Northern Ireland  Care for animals  Hope for children  Companionship for the elderly

SHSCT Scheme Northern Ireland has the highest participation level per company at 8.3% on average. 4% of SHSCT staff currently participate Charity of the Year - Southern Area Hospice Services, 1/3 funded by government : 2/3 fundraising target fundraising £2.3million - £6301 per day! £1 per week = £52 per annum = 2 hours specialist nursing care for a life at SAHS.
