Objectives :To obtain adequate knowledge on core chamber issues (management, services, communication), To increase understanding of the EU business practices in Turkey and of Turkish business practises in the EU, To foster opportunities for trade and investment. Specific objective(s): Making Konya industry and industrial companies visible at international level, raising awareness on quality importance and “Made in Konya” responsibility, establishing Konya Export Platform, Starting up Investment Promotion services in Karaman CCI TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

Activities :-Formation of project team,-study visits mutually,-Structuring a city Industry Promotion strategy,-Promotion activities including Konya Export Platform brochure, Konya Industrial Companies Directory web site and synchronous DVDs, group creation, “Made in Konya”&“Konya Uretimi” logos + posters, A5 inserts, stickers,advert on an airline magazine, -quality consciousness training for the Konya industrial companies,-a trade delegation from Konya to Southwest Saxony Region and info day about Konya industry, a trade delegation from Southwest Saxony Region to Konya vice versa, information dissemination about Konya and Southwest Saxony Regions through web sites mutually, a study visit to Karaman CCI and a study visit to KSO for investment promotion tools and activities, relative tools creation for promoting Karaman investment opportunities,-visibility actions. TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

Expected Results : a “Made in Konya” consciousness has been formed among the city industrialists, a sustainable Konya Export Platform is established, institutionalized and backed with online tools, promotional materials are produced for industrial companies in Konya, a contribution provided to the cooperation and confidence between Konya exporters, opportunities for trade between Konya and Germany are fostered via information dissemination through Konya CI and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Southwest Saxony, Investment Promotion Services have been started by Karaman CCI TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey
