Arab Arts Festival, Liverpool 7 th -16 th June 2013 – throughout the city Bringing talented artists from across the Arab world – from photography to music, theatre to film – to the city. This year, LAAF focuses on the question of identity, the many faces of Arabs today.
Africa Oye, Sefton Park, Liverpool 22 nd -23 rd June 2013 The largest free African music event in the UK will this year feature Mokoomba, ZongZing All Stars and Atongo Zimba. It will also feature African crafts, clothes and food for sale over the two-day event.
Mersey River Festival 7 th -9 th June – Pier Head, Liverpool The return of the Mersey River Festival with tall ships, historic vessels, street theatre and shanty music.
Music On The Waterfront 7 th -9 th June 2013 – the waterfront Welcome return of the live Music on the Waterfront weekend, with Smooth Radio concerts on the outdoor stage in front of the Royal Liver Building.
Liverpool International Tennis Tournament 20 th -23 rd June – Calderstones Park, Liverpool The 12th Liverpool International tennis Tournament takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Calderstones Park. The International has attracted many current and former number one players, making it the biggest exhibition tournament in Europe.
