Inventor: The first ever army tank was invented by a man named Leonardo De Vinci. The army tank was first manufactured in 1915 and first used in battle in 1916 at the battle Somme. Purpose: the army tanks first purposes were to carry solders in, out and through the battle field. Impact: the impact of the tank was that it made good fire power and increased damage upon the enemy. The tank had good protection for the crew. Some of the latest tanks even prevent damage against Rocket Propelled Grenades. (rpg)

design: a good example of the design of a tank is the ‘m1a2 tusk’. This army tank has tracks on the bottom that are spun by wheels called ‘road wheels’. There are abrams reactive armore tiles on the side. A rear protecting unit slat armor with big medal bars over it. On the bottom left side of the tank is a tank/infantry telephone. On the top of the tank is a fully auto-matic machine gun with a loaders armor gun shield around it to protect the gunner. Under the machine gun is a loaders thermal sight with thermal sight goggles for night time battle. And then inside of the tank there are thermal components to see what the gunner is looking at. And most importantly is the main gun which is the cannon shooting either huge rounds or missiles. Most tanks have the same or close to the same design of the m1a2 tusk.

Future tank: my future tank will have 10 wheels, 5 on each side, and it will be able to reach speeds up to 100mph when necessary. There will be to cannons on top for the heavy fire power. On the left side will be a mini grenade launcher, and on the right side will be a rocket launcher. And for up close battle there is a fully auto-matic machine gun.
