GFOI Capacity Building Summit Armenia, Colombia – September 17 to 19, 2014 FOREST AND CLIMATE PROTECTION / REDD+ PROGRAM The Colombian Government is currently developing a national strategy to reduce deforestation and forest degradation (ENREDD +) contributing to the reduction of CO ₂ emissions and thus to climate change mitigation. Our Program assists the National Government Level (Ministry of Environment) in participatory development and implementation of ENREDD + as well as the process of inter- sectorial coordination and between the national and regional level.
