Racism By: Jordan Anderson

1964 Couldn’t be caught with a black person or you would be beaten. Everything including movie theater’s, restaurants, schools, and so on were separated between white and blacks. Black people had no rights. When the Civil Rights Act was signed it didn’t make any difference for a long time. Black people couldn’t even register to vote. Black people were white people slaves.

Present Time We have a black president. Black people have every single right a white person does. Black and white people can be married and have children. There isn’t a such thing as slavery anymore.
