 Be a good friend  Be a mediator  Look  Listen  Tell someone who cares LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. Be the change you want to see in your world. Be the change you want to see in your world.. Prevent Bullying You have a right to be safe and happy at school. You should show care for other children. You can help stop bullying. Tell your teacher, your principal, or your mom and dad if something at school makes you feel sad.

Be the change you want to see in your world. LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. What is bullying? Bullying is being mean or unkind to someone else over and over again. It includes:  name calling and teasing.  talking about hurting someone.  taking things away from someone.  breaking someone’s things.  spreading horrible stories.  leaving someone out of games.

Be the change you want to see in your world. LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. Children who are bullied Children who are bullied feel:  different.  alone. Children who are bullied think that the bully is stronger than they are. Bullying can make them:  sad, lonely or scared.  feel sick.  bully other kids.

Be the change you want to see in your world. LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. Children who bully others Children bully others for many reasons. They may:  want to copy their friends.  think bullying will make them fit in.  think they are better than the person they are bullying. Bullying is never okay. It is one person using power to hurt another person. Power does not only mean bigger or stronger, it can mean more popular or smarter. We live in a country where people struggled for justice and fairness. We need to look after this right We need to treat each other with justice and fairness too.

Be the change you want to see in your world. LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE. Children who see bullying When we see bullying, we often don’t know what to do. You might think you can only join in or keep quiet. The BEST THING to do is to call an adult who can help. Keeping quiet when we see bullying is just as hurtful as bullying. It allows space for it to continue. Be the change… Speak up.
