(2Ki 17:33) They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

I.It is the PRODUCT of your SALVATION

(Eph 2:8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:9) Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Not by works of righteousness which we have donebut according to his mercy he saved us That being justified by his grace might be careful to maintain good works (Tit 3:5-8) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity good works (Tit 2:14) Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. through the blood of the everlasting covenant Make you perfect in every good work to do his will (Heb 13:20-21) Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

(1Co 4:1) Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. (1Co 4:2) Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

The kinds of servant in the N. T. 1.“doulos” Slave servant (Rom 1:1) Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2.“diakonos” waiter “deacon” served (Joh 12:2) There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. 3.“huperetes” under oarsmen ministers (1Co 4:1) Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

vocation wherewith ye are called (Eph 4:1) I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, (Eph 4:2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (Eph 4:3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
