Self-Paced Distance Learning, accessed via PowerSource, Web-based “Mastery in Minutes” training includes short tutorials that are topic-specific for easy answers to simple tasks Online distance learning consists of interactive courses approximately one hour in duration. Designed for adult learners, this type of training includes authentic assessment, interactive storylines, and hand-drawn graphics to engage learners. Unlimited access! Once approved they will be available for every educator in North Carolina.

What is assessment? Assessment is the process of gathering and interpreting evidence of student learning. It is the crucial link between learning outcomes, content, teaching and learning activities. Putting It Together You are going to a team meeting. Each of your team members needs to bring information about one section of a class that seems to be struggling. Select a section in which your results are markedly different than the district or school results on one assessment. Determine which skill and standard was the most challenging for students. Hypothesize about what might contribute to students’ misunderstanding. What instructional considerations does the data suggest?
