Observations – Steps (1) 1. Write down the school where you would like to observe on the gold sheet in your folder. 2.Complete Background check 3.Instructor approval 4.Letters will be placed in your folder when required steps are complete

Observations – Steps (2) 5.Contact the school: a)Information in class for Nell Holcomb, Alma Schrader, and University Child Enrichment Center (UCEC) b)Go to the school to register (Scott City Elem) c)Others call school (contact person on list)

Observations – Steps (3) 6.Observation Journal format has been posted Print the format of the Observation Journal (Schedule & Assignments pages on web) 7.Go to the school for your first visit 8.Complete Observation Chart for that day and Log of Times (before you leave school)

Observations – Steps (4) 9.Make Arrangements for next visit 10.Exchange phone numbers 11.Continue observations
