Task.  The numbers of web 2.0 tools are increasing exponentially. The question that one is going to ask is which tool/application is indicated for which level of the blooms taxonomy. At this juncture you will need to outline the blooms taxonomy and argue out why you think a particular application/web 2.0 is indicated for a particular level. Each of you will explore the links listed below and attempt to address the tasks that have been prescribed.

Process  Literature search via educational data bases, search engines, Wikipedia  be able to explain the web 2.0 tools in your own words  find a relevant online video and embed it on your wiki page or later on your power point  write a reflection in your own words(about 1000 words)  prepare you power point and upload it to the LMS  Use the Moodle guide tool pyjamas.net/2010/05/moodle-tool-guide-for-teachers/ pyjamas.net/2010/05/moodle-tool-guide-for-teachers/

Lesson Plan  Goal The course is intend for teachers who aspire to use web 2.0 in their teaching and learning. The lesson intends to link every level of the Blooms taxonomy with appropriate web 2.0 tools  Delivery approach  The course shall be delivered via the LMS of the college. The course shall last for 4 weeks -2 hours per week

PreKnowledge  For practical purposes the lesson designer assumes that teachers have sufficient internet skills to seek information and transfer it to the WebQuest. In a similar vein, the lesson designer assumes that the teacher is familiar with Web2.0 tools.

unit objectives  To describe Web 2.0 tools to educators new to the technologies so they can discuss them intelligently with students and their colleagues  To model Web 2.0 tools through classroom examples  To explain to beginning users how to get started with each tool  To present practical unit plans illustrating the use of Web 2.0
