The T-Chart Outline A T-chart helps an author construct paragraphs effectively. Many times an author will have a great topic, but fail to provide examples or elaborate about the topic. This chart helps recognize those weaknesses. GO STOP! SLOW DOWN Write a topic sentence. Give reason, detail or fact. Use a transition. Explain. Give examples. GO BACK Remind the reader of the topic.
