“CCSA Principles” 2003: idea of “Fundamental Principles for international organizations” is born 2003 – 2005: Extensive drafting and consulting process September 2005: CCSA endorses “Principles Governing International Statistical Activities” Fall 2005: individual endorsements (25/39 CCSA members)

Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics UNSC 2011: no changes in actual FP but new preamble and re- enforcement of the Principles UNSC 2013: new preamble 24 July 2013: ECOSOC endorsement October 2013: GA endorsement ? Remaining tasks of the FOC Group
