My Dream House By: Directions: You will be creating a 5 paragraph (slide) essay describing the house that you will one day live in! In the first paragraph, you will give an overall description of what your house looks like from the outside. Then, in the next three paragraphs, you will choose your three favorite rooms and describe them in great detail – each room gets its own paragraph. To conclude, your fifth paragraph will be a nice summary of your house. Here’s the catch – you have to use at least 10 different conjunctions throughout your essay! Please underline them! See the last few slides for a list of conjunctions and how you’ll be graded!

Paragraph 1 – The Outside of the House (include where it’s located, what it looks like, the color, the landscaping, your neighbors…etc.) Photos (optional):

Paragraph 2: Room 1 – (Describe one of your favorite rooms using a lot of details! Don’t forget to use conjunctions!) Photos (optional):

Paragraph 3: Room 2 – (Describe another favorite room using a lot of details! Don’t forget to use conjunctions!) Photos (optional):

Paragraph 4: Room 3 – (Describe another favorite room using a lot of details! Don’t forget to use conjunctions!) Photos (optional):

CONJUNCTIONS Use 10 different conjunctions in your essay! Conjunction: A conjunction is a word that links words, phrases, or clauses together.

HOW YOU ARE GRADED PENALTY – you will get 20 points off your score if you do not use 10 different conjunctions throughout your essay! Please underline them.
