Project Based Assessment

PowerPoint Specifics 1.Open PowerPoint, add it to your “start menu” 2.Look at the option tabs across the top of the “ribbon.” 3.How do you add slides? 4.Where do you find transitions? 5.How can you add clip art? 6.Can you change a background? 7.How do we add font?

What does it mean: Border? Animation? Shapes? Smart Art? Spell Check? Transitions? Format Shapes? (text boxes) Designs for Backgrounds?

Task: Create a 6 slide presentation about your favorite activity or hobby. –Slide #1: Title Slide (activity, your name, class period, image of activity) –Slide #2: Talk about your favorite activity (describe/define it). –Slide #3: Why is it your favorite activity (this is all about you)? –Slide #4: Writer’s Choice page (add what you think you should have) –Slide #5: Attach your “NAME PLATE” to this page. Add some decorations to “match” what you created within your name project. –Slide #6: Copy and paste the rubric from the next page, and HIGHLIGHT your scores. Use it like a check list. Features: Include the following features –Background design-Clip art with animation –ClipArt on each slide-upload to T drive –Different Font on each slide-Accurate Spelling & Grammar –Word Art used-Shapes (x3) –Different Colored Text-Creative bullets somewhere –Slide Transitions to each slide- Smart Art Design somewhere.
