Goals: To make improvement to the schools under the Gillard Government’s National Plan for school improvements, so that by 2025, Australia is ranked as a top 5 country in the world for the performance of the students in Reading, Science, Mathematics, and for providing children with high-quality educating systems. Beliefs: The National Plan for School Improvement will change as well as other resources to every school in the country, and will be phased in over several years, as said by the Gonski review.

Goals: To build a stronger Australia by building stronger economy, stronger community, a clean environment, and modern infrastructure, so that Australia, can get ahead in global economy, so Australians can have a better future. Beliefs: That there is no limit to what Australia can achieve, and offer every Australian hope.

Goal: Delivering the future security, opportunity and prosperity for all Australians, through targeted polices that focus on stronger regional economies, secure communities, a sustainable environment and the highest possible standard of living Beliefs: The National Party of Australia is the only political party dedicated to advancing the interests Australia and those who make their lives and business in regional Australian communities. The Nationals provide a strong voice on these issues in the Federal Parliament. Working together as a strong and united team means our MPs and Senators have developed a reputation for going above their weight.

Goals: Many of the social problems that happens today – crime, discrimination, disease, poverty – could be improved if we focus on eliminating extreme inequality in Australia and across the world. The Australian Greens believe that it should be the priority of all governments to alleviate poverty and to extend opportunity to all members of society. Beliefs: Australia must act to promote peace, democracy, ecological sustainability and human rights. Australian foreign policy should benefit both the Australian people and the people from other countries. The principles of the United Nations Charter and Declaration of Human Rights, and adherence to effective global environmental governance.

Goals: To make sure every Member of the Party, including Members of Parliament, will, in making decisions, vote, consistent in accordance with the following values and principles. Beliefs: Governments should develop and promote policies which maintain and advance a modern mixed system that will ensure economic growth, full employment, distribution of income, rising living standards, prosperity, opportunity and equality of access to such opportunity for all Australians.

Goals The Australian Democrats support a non-discriminatory immigration program that gives priority to refugees and family reunion applicants. We support multiculturalism and believe all of us has a part in building a strong, safe, harmonious society. Beliefs: That everyone has a moral responsibility, and the Government as our representative, also have a duty under international law, to provide for refugees because it is wrong to send people back to persecution or death.
