What is PPBR? PowerPoint (or Powerful Prezi) Book Reports A fun, new way to present what you know about the book you read.

To Give You An EXCITING and NEW way to present a book to the class Using your CREATIVITY and THE COMPUTER! What is the point?

Your Part…

Step One Cover slide must include: –Title, author, picture of the book, your name, class, hour, and date The next slide must include: –Setting (time + place = mood) –Tone (attitude the author has overall)

Step Two  The next slide must include:  Main characters in the book and the main conflict and what type it is  The next slide will include:  Plot of the book, including the climax and the resolution without giving too much away Make a Story Board

Step Three The next slide… -- MUST INCLUDE -- A quote from the book to illustrate a character, the setting, or the mood. Explain the importance of your quote with COMMENTARY, and CITE the quote.
