A terrible traffic accident

She fell asleep soon because she was tired out. He turned his car suddenly when he saw the lorry approaching.

It skidded off the road before it hit a big tree. They were injured because they were badly cut by glass from the broken windscreen. He telephoned the police after he had stopped the car.

It was a dark night. The driver was following a car driven by a man. Driven very fast, our car overtook the man’s. But the driver didn’t see the approaching lorry! The careless guy turned the car suddenly. The car, skidding off the road, hit a big tree. It was lucky that those kind-hearted people offered help. Badly cut by glass from the broken windscreen, the driver and me were seriously injured. Stopping their car, the couple telephoned the police. The badly injured driver and me were carried into the ambulance and taken to hospital. The policemen took down the details of the accident and thanked the couple for their help.
