Who runs the Company? The CEO of the Suez Water Company is Gerard Mestrallet. There headquarters is located in Paris, France.

Mission Statement Suez’s Mission Statement: Delivering the essentials of life. Their products line up with their mission statement because their main product is water, which is essential to life.

Where is SUEZ located? Suez’s headquarters is located in Paris, France and operates in 130 countries with its biggest grips in the United States, China, Latin America, and Europe! Suez Subsidiaries:

The History of Suez 1880: Establishment of La Société Lyonnaise des Eaux et de l'Eclairage and management of the water supply in Cannes, France 1948: Degrémont builds Egypt’s first drinking water treatment plant. 2001: Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux becomes SUEZ ENVIRONMENTal. Water operations in France are grouped together under the name Lyonnaise des Eaux. 2002: Grouping together of the environmental operations of SUEZ within one branch 2008: Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux became GDF Suez, after a corporate merger with the french utilities corporation Gaz de France

Why it began? Suez Water Company began to do just what there mission statement says which is to provide the essentials of life!

How is it viewed? The clients: Clients are not particularly fond of the Suez company because they do have a reputation of denying people access to water if they can’t pay for it, as well as other situations where people are denied water. Water conservationists: Conservationists also are not fans of this company because of Suez’s desire to privatize all water sources. Myself: Based on my research, Suez seems like a legitimate company that provides many services to people all over the world, however they seem money and power hungry because of some of the things that they allow to happen.

World Bank and its involvement! The World Bank and Suez act as partners to each other to increase the privatization of water.
