“The Power At The Click Of A Mouse” (Using Power Point To Create A Presentation)

Planning 1.Before you begin your Power Point Presentation, you must have a plan in mind. First, you must have an idea of the topic. 2.After you have a topic, you must move on to generate questions about your topic, if you are not assigned any. 3.If you are assigned questions in reference to your topic, you must move on to research information on what the questions might be addressing. 4.It is extremely important to cite the information that you obtain throughout your research, to include data and images.

Continue Planning 1.Once you have obtained the information needed, you must also keep in mind that visuals will play an important role in your presentation. This will attract the audience and keep them focused. 2.Along with your data and visuals, you might find the need to add graphs or videos that could relate to your topic. 3. Keeping all your sources and information saved will be of great benefit, as it might be easier to add to your presentation.

Choosing the Slides 1.Once you have your data, you will be ready to go access the Power Point Program and begin your presentation. The first thing that you must do is choose a new slide template. Keeping in mind that you will be working first, on your Title Page, it is appropriate to choose the Title Page Slide. 2.After you choose your slides, you will be able to type your text within the boxes and you will continue to choose the rest of your slides, based on your information and content.

Title Page **Within your first page (Cover Page) your title must include the title of the topic that you will be addressing.** Topics: –Teenagers in Abusive Relations –Teens in Drugs and Alcohol –Teenagers in Gangs –Teenagers Dropping Out of High School –Teen Pregnancies
