Progress Report by the Office of the Director General of the IIN 17 At the budgetary level… The program-budget of the IIN Regular Fund was restructured by means of a substantial increase of operational funds as from 2002, shifting from 19 to 35 percent of the total budget. The internal budget allocation was improved for the purpose of achieving a more even strengthening of the various technical areas of the IIN. As a result of Cooperation Agreements between the IIN and several entities, annual counterpart funds currently exceed one million U.S. dollars.

Progress Report by the Office of the Director General of the IIN 33 National Reports to the Committee on the Rights of the Child A methodology is being developed for the Systematization of Reports, with the participation of governments and the civil society This methodology is being partially tested in Colombia, Dominican Republic and Uruguay, and will eventually be tested in Paraguay The U.N. Committee on the Rights of the Child and the NGOs Coordinating body, both based in Geneva, have been informed on the development of this process
