What are complimentary colors? Colors that are directly opposite on the color wheel.

Name the 3 secondary colors. green, orange, purple

What does “value” refer to in art related terminology? The lightness or darkness of a color….or shades of a color.

How do you make purple? mix blue and red

How do you make intermediate colors? mix a primary color with a neighboring secondary color

How do you make a “tint” of a color? Add white

What is a triadic color harmony? One that uses colors that form a triangle on the color wheel… like red, yellow, and blue.

What is an analogous color harmony? One which mostly uses colors that share a common color.....say, all colors have yellow in them.

How do you make green? add blue and yellow

What does “opaque” mean? You can’t see through it.
