Welcome to Pack 142 Annual New Scout Meeting & Registration

Agenda Presentation 15 minutes on: Overview of Scouting Explain how a Pack & Den operate Registration Review upcoming events Form dens- new parent overview Registration

Regional Scout Organization (District - Tacachale) Gulf Ridge Council Pack 142 – Clark Elementary Dens- Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos

Den Breakdown A DEN has 6-10 boys, led by parent volunteer called a Den Leader. The rank of your son’s DEN is: 1st Grade--Tiger Cub 2nd Grade--Wolf 3rd Grade--Bear 4th & 5th Grades— Webelos I & II Your son’s DEN typically meets once every two weeks for an hour

Pack Leadership Den Leader leads den meetings Assistant Den Leader assists Den Leader Parents- execute or assist the meeting Committee Members represent the Dens at the Pack Committee Meetings Committee Chairperson leads the Pack Committee. Cub Master leads the monthly Pack Meetings Every 3 rd Thursday 6:30, Clark All Purpose Rm

Investment $10.00 payable to Gulf Ridge Council dues Boys Life & National BSA program $12.00 for Boys Life $22.00 payable tonight $60 Pack dues (1 st Scout) Subsidize- Meals, camping fees, badges, books, Pinewood Derby cars, Rain Gutter Regatta boat, supplies, event fees Due at Hotdog Social payable to Pack 142 Checks or exact change is preferred $50 for each additional Scout Uniforms are about $40 Scout Shop Central Ave ( No one left behind for financial reasons
