A Recursive View of Functions: Lesson 45

LESSON OBJECTIVE: Recognize and use recursion formula. DEFINITION: Recursive formula: Each term is formulated from one or more previous terms. To be able to use this, you must be given the value of the first term so you can start the sequence.

Please get out the worksheets “Study Guide and Intervention- Recursion and Special Sequences” so I can show you examples of how to use the recursion formula.

HOMEWORK!! 1)“Skills Practice-Recursion and Special Sequences” Worksheet. 2)“Practice-Recursion and Special Sequences” Worksheet.
