Hi! I’m Emma!Emma! While the little monkeys figure out what 3+2 equals, Click on my name to learn about me! Hi! I’m Eileen!Eileen! While I finish drawing a silly little monkey, please click on my name for a very silly cartoon biography! Click on Emma to learn how Eileen draws me!

Did you know that Eileen… …wrote a book that was one of Ms. Lanette’s favorites when she became a librarian. It was called “Henry and the Red Stripes! It is out of print. Did you know that books that books can be “endangered” and even become “extinct?” …got books as presents for everything- even being sick? As a kid, she cataloged them all and made her own library! She would check them out to her friends and even charge fines if they were late! …still has a file cabinet of ideas for books just waiting for her to find a beginning, middle and end and bring them alive in 32 pages. Did you know how many pages pictures book had?

These are just some of Eileen’s ideas that became books! Some are even series!

Eileen’s most famous idea was about five little monkeys! Click on Emma for her interview with “The Monkeys!”

How much trouble can five little monkeys get into? Read all of Eileen’s books to find out! “Don’t Wake Up Mama” was Eileen’s first five monkey book! It’s has a new title to match all the others… ”Five Little Monkeys Bake a BirthdayCake!”
