'Alternative Education Program' is expected only when no other course code applies and the generic alternative education program course code, '22A01G,' is provided. If a course code other than '22A01G' is available for the alternative education course, then 'Alternative Education Program' should equal 'Not Applicable' (NA) or 'MPS Partnership Schools' (PS).

A Teacher Role of 'Monitoring Educator' (ME) can only be used when 'Dual Enrollment Credit' equals 'Youth Options Private College' (YOPC), 'Youth Options UW System' (YOUW), 'Youth Options Technical College' (YOTC) or 'Youth Apprenticeship' (YA) and 'Distance Education' equals 'Yes' (Y) or 'No' (N) or Alternative Education program equals 'High School Education Diploma' (HSED), 'Challenge Academy' (CA) or 'High School Credit' (HSC).

Dual Enrollment Credit (cont’d) CAPP (replaced) – Cooperative Academic Partnership Program CCHS – College Credit in High School— Any one of several programs existing in some Wisconsin school districts, which allow students to take college-level courses, taught by a high school teacher, and awarded college credit without attending the college campus.

'Equivalency' was provided as a value other than 'Not Applicable' (NA), and 'Subject Area' was provided as a value other than '08', '10', '11', '12', '13', '14', '16', '17', '18', '19', '20', '21' or '22'. Part-time Open Enrollment District Definition Update Part-time Open Enrollment was replaced in statute with Course Options prior to the school year. However, the name change and corresponding program changes were not implemented during the school year. These changes will be in effect with the school year. For the reporting periods, the following guidance is provided: Part 1 includes the number of resident students attending another school district for purposes of participation as a student in the part-time open enrollment program. Part 2 includes the number of nonresident students attending courses offered within your district. As of school year (collection year 2014) CWCS Phase 4—CW1 in accordance with s , Wis. Stats., any student enrolled in grade level K4-12 may qualify as a participant in a course options program, which equated to part-time open enrollment during the , , and school years. This count does not include resident private school and home-based students who take courses under s (4), Wis. Stats. Nor does it include students enrolled in a post- secondary program. This data is used to complete the School Performance Report (SPR), s , Wis. Stats. In addition, included is the number of nonresident students attending courses offered within your district. Part-time open enrollment district is collected as a required field for CWCS data collections.
