MTA MEMBERSHIP OBJECTIVES OUR “TEST” TO SEE IF WE MEET THE OBJECTIVE Organisational succession - yes provides an internal source/pool of potential business members Member development (cradle to grave) - yes support individual’s career from start to retirement and keeps them within MTA Reflect motor sector structure - yes mirrors how sector is actually structured so members understand and appreciate the structure Compliment current member categories - yes does not compete with current business members and aligns current awards and guild memberships (which are individually based) Entice potential members - yes offers a wider membership group than currently available Support branch network - yes provides greater critical mass in branches and opportunities to engage/support/mentor Position MTA Brand yes reinforces MTA’s vision – “must join organisation”

MOTOR TRADE ASSOCIATION MEMBER UPDATE APRIL 2015 Transition & implementation If agreed this should be thought about: – Complete a business case – Goes to Board for approval If business case approved we would then need to: – Make rule changes – Hold a Special General Meeting to change constitution and bylaws
