GANESH FESTIVAL CELEBRATION

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesh, the god of wisdom and prosperity in the lunar month of Bhadrapada. The celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi continue for five, seven, or ten days.

In Maharashtra, this festival was firstly started by Great Maratha Ruler Shivaji Maharaj and later revived by the freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak to spread the feeling of unity between people.

We had organized Ganesh Festival in our school premises on the same day i.e. 19 th of September, 2012.

THE PREPRIMARY STUDENTS ENJOYED THE SCENCES AT GANESH FESTIVAL WITH THEIR TEACHERS.

EACH OF THEM WAS CHANTING, “GANAPATI BAPPA MORYA, MANGAL MURTI MORYA!”
