Dialogue B a c k g r o u n d The Anna Lindh Foundation The late Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh promotes the idea of creating a Euro-Mediterranean Foundation (Valencia 2002). The Foundation is named after Anna Lindh (Dublin, May 2004). The Foundation would be jointly co-hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the Swedish Institute of Alexandria. The statutes of the Foundation are adopted (The Hague, November 2004). The Foundation, the first common institution jointly established and financed by the 35 Euro-Med Governments, is officially inaugurated in Alexandria on April 20, 2005.

Call for proposal what is it? providing grants ‘Call for Proposals’, One of the ways in which the Anna Lindh Foundation works to fulfill its mission is by providing grants to civil society organizations through its ‘Call for Proposals’, an open competition to select the best projects for intercultural dialogue in the Euro-Med region. Some rules 1+1 Formula, each project should involve 2 partners:  1 from an European countries  1 from a Mediterranean countries Amount  minimum amount: EUR 10,000; maximum amount: EUR 75,000 Have fill in the profil Dialogue P r o j e c t s

Themes For proposals in 2007, action have to correspond to themes: EuroMed music (workshops/festivals) and cultural/artistic creation EuroMed schools programme; EuroMed teams of young researchers, academic mobility… For 2008 no themes are needed, action have just to create an intercultural dialogue Dialogue P r o j e c t s

How to apply? For apply you have to send before the deadline, the application form A and a 4 page concept paper witch include: Dialogue P r o j e c t s a summary of the action the relevance of the project the methodology and Sustainability of the project the operational capacity and expertise of the project If your application is accepted, and only in this case, you have to send the budget and other applications.
