Are you thinking of using an EMR? Having an EMR allows you to connect to other health information systems such as OntarioMD’s Hospital Report Manager to receive hospital reports electronically. The OntarioMD EMR Adoption Program assists physicians in their transition from paper-based records to EMRs. The EMR Adoption Program has been extended until March 31, 2015 and focuses on specialists. OntarioMD ( manages the program funded by eHealth Ontario, to assist physicians with funding and change management support to adopt and implement a Funding Eligible EMR. Eligibility: Community-based specialists and the remaining family physicians who have not yet adopted an EMR Specialists who practice solely within a hospital and treat only hospital patients are not eligible to apply Please see the New EMR Adopter Funding Program Terms & Conditions for reference.
