Energy Conservation in the Home/Kitchen We can do our part to conserve energy by doing the following steps: Always fell the dishwasher full to get from the energy to run it. Permanently set the dishwasher to air dry. If it doesn't have that option, then open the door to let it dry. If your microwave has an electronic display on it unplug it when it is not in use. Really anything that has a stand by phase, unplug it when it is not needed.

Energy Conservation in the Home/Kitchen Choosing the right appliances for your kitchen conserves natural resources and money in the process. Technology and design reduces the amount of energy needed to run big appliances like refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers. We could also make sure we do our part in the energy conservation by doing things that would save energy. Like making sure the water is shut off and the doors on our appliances are closed.
