Emergency Medical Response You Are the Emergency Medical Responder Your police unit responds to a scene where an elderly gentleman appears lost and disoriented. He does not know where he is, how he got there or how to get home. When you ask him what his name is, the gentleman stares at you and says, What did you say? Initially he cannot remember, but after repeating the question several times the patient begins to respond and remember small bits of information. Lesson 40: Special Needs Patients
