A brief history of Norway -In the Ice age it was covered in 4km of ice. -Vikings were some of the first people to live in Norway -The Norwegian people were the first europeans to explore North America.

-Norwegian Sea is on the northwest side -The Barent Sea at the northern tip of Norway -Lagen river runs through the south part of Norway. -Lake Mjosa, which runs off of the Glama River.

-One of Europe's most mountainous countries -The Scandinavian mountains run ALL through Norway from north tip to south tip.

-Climate is mostly mild because of the ocean breeze -January, and February are the coldest months, and mid July is the hottest month

-Some major cities of Norway are Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim, and Fredrikstad. - Oslo is the capital of Norway -Population of Norway is 4,593,000

-Sweden, Finland, and Russia are the bordering countries -The highest point is, Galdhopiggen, it’s 2,469 m -The lowest point is the Norwegian Sea
