Computers and TVs are similar. They both have monitors, but TVs are mostly an output machine. This means you receive movies out from the TV.
Computers are also an output machine. Information entered into the computer comes out to you.
Computers are different from TVs. Since they also receive input. Information or data that is put into a computer is called Input.
So output is the information that comes out to you from the computer and input is the information from you into the computer.

Computers have storage devices to hold information that is put into them. n Floppy Disk- stores information from one computer on the disk and allows the information to be taken to another computer. n Hard Drive- stores information on a drive inside the computer. n My Documents- stores information within the computer. n Shared Directory- stores information within the computer.
