Delimitation Focus: Making voting stations accessible to voters; Phase1: 309 Voting Districts delimited and new voting stations created; - Completed Sept Phase 2: to focus on creating additional voting stations and voting centres. Still awaiting direction from National Office; - Due Aug Phase 3: awaiting MDB to finalise determination of municipal outer boundaries and re-alligning voting district boundaries; - Due Sept. 2013

Targeted Communication and Registration Focus: Informing voters of changes in their voting stations and registering them against their new voting districts Phase 1: This followed Delimitation Phase 1 – Completed February 2013; Phase 2: This will focus on those areas with low registration numbers, particularly where less than 200 people were registered; - Due September 2013;

Voting Station Infrastructure Survey Focus: Determining the state of voting station infrastructure and temporary infrastructure requirements Voting Station Infrastructure surveys currently underway –Due August 2013; Provision of temporary infrastructure – dates tied to actual events, i.e. Registration Weekends 1 & 2 and Election Day;

Voting Station Lease Agreements Focus: Securing voting station venues through lease agreements; Lease Agreements currently being signed with landlords –Due August 2013 Venues include: –Schools; –Churches; –Halls; –Open land;

Staff Recruitment and Training Focus: Recruitment and Training of electoral staff according to set policies and guidelines; Categories of Staff: –Registration Station Staff; Recruitment – Completed April 2013 Training – July 2013 to Sept Refresher training – January 2014 –Area Managers Recruitment – Completed April 2013 Training – On going (Ad hoc)
