Postmen

Duties The postmen are useful public servants. They work in the Postal department.

The roles of the postmen are to sort and deliver letters and small packets from a district post office to different places.

Depending on duties, they may also be responsible for mail collections from post boxes and post offices.

A Messenger of Good News and Bad News The postmen are the link between friends and relatives by their quick and regular service.

Businessmen are benefited by postmen especially in festivals.

They are the messengers of all sorts of good news and bad news.

Appearance and Dress The postmen wear green shirts. They have a large bag containing letters or parcels.

Behaviour Wherever the postmen go, they are welcome visitors. They are polite and humble.

They make no difference between the rich and the poor.
