UBC- Vancouver Faculty of Science Bachelor of Science (min 4 years) Program: Science Combined Major The Combined Major in Science (CMS) program provides students with a broad-based science education, with a focus on data handling, communications skills and experiential learning. It is not designed for students interested in research careers, but is suited to students preparing for professional schools such as education, law or medicine, or those interested in scientific journalism.

Important Dates December 10: Application deadline for Canadian citizens wishing to be eligible for a Major Entrance Scholarship. February 1: Final course completion date for distance and distributed online courses. February to April: High school grades are submitted to UBC for Canadian secondary school applicants. (self-reporting) February to May : Admission decisions are made for most Canadian and international secondary school applicants. April 30: Canadian citizens and permanent residents are notified if they will be receiving a Major Entrance Scholarship or a UBC Entrance Award. May 1: Deadline to submit housing application to be eligible for priority access. June 2: Deadline to accept your offer of admission to UBC and to pay your acceptance deposit. For offers made after May 15, check your admission letter for deadlines.
