What else is this good for? The Big6 is great for lots of tasks. Check out some examples!

1. Task Definition Define the Problem / Identify Information Needed My own useSchool research papers CompetitionsTell your mom, too! Which cell phone should I buy? Themes in The Lord of the Flies by William Golding Debate Club: Should schools have uniforms? What airline is best to fly to Australia? Rates, plans, specs, ratings, cost, etc… What are the themes? How are they used? For and against? How many schools have uniforms, etc… Cost? Routes? Schedule? Etc…

Consumer Reports, visit a store to hold the phones, etc. Class notes, book reviews, journal articles, books, reliable internet sites, etc. Interviews, reliable websites, surveys, etc. Flight finders online, airport website, travel agents, online forums, etc.

What will you buy and where? What are the key themes? Answer questions with organized research. Present argument clearly, considering both sides. Which ticket will you buy?
