How the course works 4 Units, each with a 1 hour exam counting for 25% of the GCSE 2 units are done this year, 2 next year. Each exam will require you to answer a question on two out of three topics All of you end up with great results!

“Philosophy 2” Good and Evil – The Problem of Evil – Coping with suffering – Sources and reasons for moral behaviour Revelation Religion and Science – Origins of the world – Environmental issues

“Ethics 1” Religion and Human Relationships – Men and women – Marriage and Divorce – Sexuality Religion and Medical Ethics – Abortion – Fertility treatment – Euthanasia Religion, poverty and wealth – Causes of hunger and poverty – Religious attitudes to poverty
